International Floorball Federation Appoints Protocol Sports Marketing As Exclusive Worldwide Media Rights Distributor & Sponsorship Agency

Protocol Sports Marketing Ltd. is proud to announce that it has been appointed as the exclusive worldwide media rights distributor and sponsorship agency for the International Floorball Federation (IFF).

As part of the agreement Protocol Sports will develop, market and distribute media and sponsorship assets for all IFF events including:

  • Men’s and Women’s World Floorball Championships (WFC)
  • WFC Regional qualifying events
  • U19 World Floorball Championships
  • IFF Champions Cup and Euro Floorball Cup

The sport of Floorball is on the rise.  Interest in professional competition is already well established in Europe particularly across the Nordic region and in Central Europe.  IFF plans to build upon this sustained growth whilst also bringing the sport to new markets and expanding awareness across developing territories. In partnering with Protocol Sports, IFF is now well placed to accelerate this growth by leveraging the support of a full-service agency with a proven track record, dedicated approach and established network of broadcasters, streaming platforms, brands and sponsors around the world.

“Floorball has experienced steady growth over the past few years, culminating in the sport’s inclusion in the 2017 World Games and a highly successful 2018 Men’s World Floorball Championship.  We are excited to collaborate with Protocol Sports as we expand the sport of Floorball globally to enhance the awareness and market value of the sport.” says John Liljelund, Secretary General at the International Floorball Federation.

“We are thrilled to partner with the International Floorball Federation,” says Protocol Sports Marketing President Lowell Conn.  “We strongly believe in the vision of the IFF and the opportunities presented by floorball. We believe that floorball is a tremendous addition to Protocol Sports, and our entire team is armed and ready to bring floorball to the world.”
